“P&P ” is a favorite with the rich and famous because gathered here are the “wise and knowledgeable” without the “shallow and facile”. It is also a favorite haunt for those of a literary persuasion. A visit to “P&P” is thus a chance to meet with others of a like mind through the pens where you can experience for yourself the meaning of “friends are direct, friends are understanding and friends are knowledgeable”. It will surely be a very enriching journey.

It’s not height that makes a mountain famous, but the spirits that dwell upon it.
It’s not depth that makes a river great, but the dragon within its waters.
It may be just a rough dwelling but it’s the substance that matters.
As one ascend the mossy stairs, a curtain of green meets the eye.
Gathered here are the wise and knowledgeable, without the shallow and facile.
Here I can play an unadorned Qin or contemplate the Buddhist texts.
There are no musicians to grate on the ears or official documents to slave over.
Even the hut of Jhuge Liang or Yang Syong’s pagoda can not surpass this abode.
As Confucious said, “The dwelling of a true gentleman is never vulgar”.
